D E C I S I O N
No._431__, dated 27.04.2009
On an addendum to the decision of council of ministers no.362 of april 1st 2009 “on determining the criteria, procedures and documentation for entry, stay, and treatment of foreigners in the Republic of Albania”
In reliance on article 100 of the Constitution and article 13 point 2 and article 20 of law no.9959 of 17th July 2009 “On foreigners”, on the proposal of Minister of Interior and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers,
DECIDED:
1. After point 11, part II “Criteria, Procedures and documentation for issuance of visa”, there shall be added point 11/1 with the following content:
“Citizens of the countries mentioned in Annex 7 in possession of a Type-C Schengen short stay visa and Type-D multiple entries visa, and also residence permits issued by the Schengen Member States, are allowed to enter, stay and transit in the Republic of Albania within their validity period, without the need to be issued a visa
by the Albanian authorities responsible.
2. Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are tasked with the enforcement of this decision.
The decision enters into force immediately and it shall be published in the Official Journal.
