The new uniform of State Police
It is developed the closing stage of the Design, Modeling, and Costing competition, of the New Uniform, symbols, emblems, and ranks for the employees of State Police
 This process began in January of this year and passed naturally through several stages, from the drafting of the design task, taking opinions from beneficiary structures, approval in the Policies Group and tendering for the selection of the entity that would realize the design task.
In this process, have contributed the specialists of all police services, but also historian, heralds, ethnographer, lecturer of the State University, representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, who we thank for their contribution.
 The initiative for the realization of this process derives from the requirements of Law Nr.9749 of 4 June 2007 For State Police" and the necessity for a dignified
presentation, to improve the State Police performance and of the enhancement of the functional side of the uniform objects.
Design, modeling and costing of the new uniform, symbols, emblems, and ranks of police employees, was born as a necessity and requirement because of:
In the current police uniform are identified problems and deficiencies mainly in terms of its general appearance,
The quality of the materials used for the uniform production has been low.,
Modeling and composition of some elements that are components of the uniform mainly symbols, ranks and emblems, both for the design and production material were not according to the required standards.
